Content Heartbeat ICM Workspace Template

The Content Heartbeat ICM Workspace Template is a simple filesystem pattern for turning scattered signals into reviewable content decisions.

Open the Google Drive template folder

It is built around a small set of files and records:

  • start-here guide
  • source map
  • signal capture
  • scoring rules
  • idea queue
  • draft queue
  • review gate
  • run log

Best Fit

Use this template when a person or team sees useful signals all week but does not have a repeatable way to decide what becomes a post, article, video, resource, task, or rejected idea.

It is a good fit for operators, consultants, creators, and small teams that want AI help without handing publication decisions to AI.

Poor Fit

This is a poor fit if the goal is fully automated posting, scraping large volumes of content, or bypassing review.

It is also not the first step if there are no approved sources or no one willing to review the idea queue.

How To Use It

Run the heartbeat in a simple loop:

  1. Choose the approved sources for the day or week.
  2. Capture each signal with enough source context to review later.
  3. Score the signal for usefulness, freshness, proof, story fit, CTA fit, safety, recordability, and trend fit.
  4. Route the next action: draft, resource, task, reject, or park.
  5. Review the queue before publishing or sending anything.
  6. Log what changed so the next run starts from the current state.

The output should be a clearer queue of decisions, not just a prettier digest.

What To Prepare

Start with a few real inputs:

  • one recent meeting note
  • one project update
  • one public article or tool update
  • one note about a client question or repeated workflow problem
  • one current content idea

That is enough to test whether the heartbeat gives better decisions.
